Position Overview

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems. This role is ideal for a technician who is confident working independently, values professionalism, and enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical system issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems

  • Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical system failures

  • Service and repair equipment including: chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers (AHUs), rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, and mini-splits

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics

  • Use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and manifold gauges

  • Provide accurate system diagnostics and repair/replacement estimates

  • Perform welding as needed for equipment and piping repairs

  • Operate and maintain a company vehicle and travel to job sites

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical HVAC systems

  • Experience with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, RTUs, and split systems

  • Proficient in reading and understanding schematics and blueprints

  • Ability to safely use electrical diagnostic tools

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • EPA Universal Certification (preferred)
