The Role

We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Analyst & Loan Closer to support live financing and investment assignments from initial underwriting through closing. This role offers hands-on exposure to transaction execution, capital structuring, and lender relationships in a fast-moving, supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst who wants to sharpen technical skills while directly participating in the firm’s deal activity and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite acquisitions, refinances, bridge loans, construction, and transitional deals
  • Build and review cash flow models for multifamily, mixed-use, industrial, retail, and development assets
  • Analyze rent rolls, operating statements, and capital expenditure budgets
  • Size and evaluate LTV, LTC, DSCR, debt yield, and return metrics
  • Prepare lender submissions, offering memoranda, and investor materials
  • Conduct market research on rents, sales comparables, and financing terms
  • Perform sensitivity and scenario analyses
  • Coordinate with originators, lenders, borrowers, attorneys, and third-party vendors
  • Assist with capital raising efforts and investor reporting

Required Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in real estate finance, lending, private equity, brokerage, or investment sales
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Solid understanding of core real estate finance metrics (DSCR, IRR, cap rates, LTV, LTC)
  • Experience with multifamily underwriting preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-based environment

Preferred

  • Exposure to bridge, construction, or structured finance
  • Prior experience at a lender, capital advisory firm, or investment shop

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
