Role Overview: Commi 1 – Dimsum is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dimsum dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. This role demands precision, speed, and consistency to maintain authenticity and excellence in the dimsum section.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation & Cooking
Prepare and cook a wide range of dimsum items (steamed, fried, baked) as per standard recipes.
Ensure mise-en-place is ready for each service — fillings, wrappers, sauces, garnishes, and condiments.
Monitor portion control and maintain consistency in size, flavor, and presentation.
Handle dimsum equipment such as steamers, woks, and fryers safely and efficiently.
Quality & Hygiene
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards as per FSSAI and company SOPs.
Conduct daily checks on ingredients for freshness and quality.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation (FIFO) of raw and cooked products.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment at all times.
Operational Excellence
Follow standard recipes, plating guides, and portion sizes.
Minimize wastage and contribute to efficient kitchen operations.
Participate in daily kitchen briefings and contribute ideas for new dimsum creations or menu improvements.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
