We’re Hiring – Commis I (Bakery Production) | Jayanagar, Bangalore

About the Role

This is a hands-on production role in a mass-production baking kitchen. The Commis I – Baker will work directly on the floor, assisting in the preparation of savory items, bar cakes, plum cakes, and other baked products. The role requires strong technical skills, discipline, and the ability to follow high-volume production standards.

The baker must also be capable of independently managing daily tasks and supporting manpower recruitment when vacancies arise.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years experience as Commis I/Commis II in bakery, hotel, or mass-production unit.
• Strong skills in savory baking, bar cakes, plum cakes, and basic confectionery.
• Mandatory: Experience with puff sheeter and lamination work.
• Good understanding of baking temperatures, mixing methods, and product quality parameters.
• Physically fit for long periods of standing and floor work.
• Basic knowledge of food costing and kitchen operations.
• Ability to communicate in Hindi; Kannada is an advantage.
