About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis III to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a strong work ethic, and experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared and stored in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Work closely with the Commis I, Commis II, and other team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen tasks and menu preparations.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or executive chef.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen (preferably in a 3-star or 4-star property).
• Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
