We are currently looking for a Commodity Buyer with good communication and negotiation skills to help us with the suppliers management and procurement strategy improvement.
Key Responsibilities Area :
- Supplier scouting & adding in the panel for new technology for new growth vertical.
- Build Supplier Panel for the Worldwide / Regions operational requirements.
- Lead new supplier integration process in the Panel: perform supplier prospection, supplier assessments (CSA), supplier development as per sub commodity strategy.
- Meet Annual Operating Plan's objectives on sub commodity
- Build and consolidate productivity action plans for sub commodity.
- Manage sub commodity strategy activities on assigned scope.
- Conducts Yearly negotiations with assigned suppliers
- Ensure platforms, customer teams current and future needs are identified and answered by sub commodity strategy
- Support new product launches in coordinating with New Product Introduction team
- Generate and consolidate ideas for global projects, collect ideas from suppliers
- Manage performance for assigned suppliers: lead quarterly business and performance review, and foster improvement of suppliers’ performance
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or above.
Experience :
- Good Negotiation Skills
- Project Management
- Good proficiency in English language
