Commodity Dealing Merchandiser

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Commodity Dealing Merchandiser to manage day-to-day trading operations, negotiate deals, monitor market trends, and ensure smooth execution of commodity transactions. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and hands-on experience in commodity handling or trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute buying and selling of commodities as per company strategy
• Build and maintain supplier and buyer relationships
• Monitor domestic and international market trends, pricing, and demand
• Coordinate logistics, documentation and follow-ups
• Maintain accurate records of deals, contracts, and inventory
• Support senior traders in planning and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with company policies and trade regulations

Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: Preferably 5 years or more (Commodity Trading / Merchandising)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Good understanding of market dynamics and pricing
• Proficiency in MS Excel & trade documentation
• Ability to work independently and handle pressure situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
