Purpose
We are seeking a creative and driven
Communications and Content Executive
to join our Marketing team. You will play a key role in creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve student recruitment and brand visibility goals.
This role requires a journalistic approach, researching, sourcing, writing, and editing compelling content that tells our story across multiple communication channels. You will also be a liaison for media-related matters, working closely with our PR agency to ensure Middlesex University Dubai is prominently showcased in the press, online, and beyond.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and implement a
content strategy
aligned with short-term and longterm recruitment objectives.

Collaborate with the Marketing and Design teams to plan and deliver content across all communication channels.

Source, create, and
publish engaging, relevant, and thought-provoking content
.

Edit, proofread, and enhance content to ensure consistency, accuracy, and highquality messaging.

Provide content support for internal and external stakeholders.

Work closely with the Senior Marketing and Operations Manager and Assistant Managers to execute campaigns.

Develop and maintain an
editorial calendar
, proactively source stories and content across the University.

Manage the relationship with the PR agency to maximize media coverage and brand visibility.

Maintain and update the
corporate portfolio
of Middlesex University Dubai (statistics, achievements, accreditations, partnerships, etc.).

Create
content writing guidelines and tools
for use across the University (print, digital, and media).

Partner with the Webmaster to optimize content for
SEO
and improve website performance.

Research and generate
new ideas
to engage target audiences and remain ahead of marketing trends.

Ensure compliance with copyright, data protection, and brand standards.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven work experience in
Content and Communications

Excellent command of spoken and written English.

A motivated self-starter with strong collaboration skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Knowledge of
SEO
and web traffic analytics.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

An impressive
portfolio of written work

Demonstrated experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.

Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

Minimum two years’ recent experience in communications, content, or marketing roles.
