Community Engagement Liaison

Location: Maryland (Landover, Baltimore, Waldorf) with regional travel 60–70%
Employment: Full-time (evenings/weekends as needed for events)
Reports to: Director, NPOC Wellness & Hydration

About NPOC Wellness & Hydration

NPOC Wellness & Hydration is a growing wellness program offering weight management, IV hydration, and evidence‑based adjuncts like peptides and supplements. We partner closely with our mental health and primary care practices to deliver whole‑person care. Our next growth chapter focuses on deep community presence, patient education, and convenient access across Maryland.

Role Summary

The Community Engagement & Partnerships Manager owns local outreach and partnerships that grow our patient census. You will build a year‑round pipeline of grassroots events, community collaborations, and referral channels that convert into booked visits and repeat wellness memberships.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Community Strategy & Calendar: Design a quarterly engagement plan across neighborhoods served by our Landover, Baltimore, and Waldorf locations; maintain a rolling 90‑day event pipeline (health fairs, HOA & church events, gyms/fitness studios, salons/barbershops, universities, coworking spaces, apartment communities, employers).
  • Partnership Development: Source, negotiate, and activate MOUs with local organizations (churches, small businesses, chambers, sororities/fraternities, first‑responder groups). Create co‑branded offers and recurring “wellness days” and mobile IV pop‑ups.
  • Referral Channels: Build warm referral flows with PCPs, urgent cares, pharmacies, behavioral health clinics, recovery programs, and aesthetic/med‑spa peers; implement referral tracking and thank‑you cadence.
  • Event Execution: Own end‑to‑end logistics: booth setup, educational talks, screenings (per protocols), lead capture, appointment scheduling on site, and post‑event follow‑up.
  • Digital Community: Engage local online groups (Nextdoor, Facebook Groups, LinkedIn, chambers) with compliant, educational content and offers that drive bookings.
  • Data & CRM Rigor: Track leads and outcomes in our CRM; report weekly on activity, funnel conversion, cost per acquisition (CPA), and ROI by channel.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent NPOC’s whole‑person, culturally competent care; deliver short talks and demos; coordinate patient testimonials and success stories.

Success Metrics (KPIs)

  • New patient starts: X per month from community channels (set baseline after month 1)
  • Show rate: 75% for community‑sourced appointments
  • Partnership activations: 6–10 recurring partners live by day 90
  • Event ROI: Positive ROI within 60 days; CPA at or below target
  • Repeat visits / memberships: 30% of new patients enroll in follow‑ups or memberships

30/60/90 Day Plan

  • Day 30: Market map completed; 25+ priority partners identified; first 6 events booked; CRM dashboards live; baseline KPIs set.
  • Day 60: 10+ events executed; 8 MOUs signed; referral workflows working; first patient success stories published.
  • Day 90: 6–10 recurring partner activations; monthly community‑sourced starts at target; CAC/ROI report and playbook documented.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in community outreach, field marketing, partnerships, or B2C enrollment—healthcare/wellness preferred.
  • Proven track record hitting growth/enrollment targets; comfortable with goal‑based compensation.
  • Excellent relationship building, public speaking, and event execution; high cultural competence.
  • Organized operator: calendar, logistics, vendor management, and rigorous follow‑up in CRM.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to lift 25–30 lbs for event setup.
  • Bonus: Maryland market experience; bilingual (e.g., Spanish) a plus.

Schedule & Travel

  • Core hours Monday–Friday; frequent evenings/weekends for community events.
  • Travel primarily across Prince George’s, Baltimore City/County, and Charles County.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $60,000–$78,000 base (DOE) + performance bonus tied to KPIs.
  • Benefits: health, PTO, mileage reimbursement, phone stipend, and professional development.

EEO Statement

NPOC Wellness & Hydration is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and patients.

Tip for Candidates: Bring examples (decks, one‑pagers, or KPI snapshots) from prior campaigns; we’ll ask you to outline a 90‑day plan specific to Landover, Baltimore, and Waldorf.
