Job Description
The Compliance Associate will support the Compliance Manager in ensuring the company's operations comply with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. This position involves conducting audits, identifying risks, maintaining compliance documentation, and ensuring adherence to ethical standards across all business processes. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Monitoring & Auditing:
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Monitor daily operations for potential compliance issues.
- Report and escalate any identified non-compliance areas to the Compliance Manager.
- Policy & Procedure Management:
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees are aware of compliance policies through regular training and communication.
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and records.
- Regulatory Research:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact the business.
- Assist in interpreting new regulations and communicating their implications to relevant departments.
- Risk Assessment:
- Identify areas of potential risk and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Participate in developing risk management plans and controls.
- Training & Awareness:
- Assist in designing and delivering compliance training sessions for staff.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and maintain compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports required by regulatory authorities.
- Ensure proper documentation of all compliance activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements to employees and management.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance software and tools, and the ability to interpret regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field. 1-4 years
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
