Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role is essential in providing technical support for our managed care clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, a solid understanding of various operating systems, and exceptional customer service abilities. You will be responsible for assisting users with hardware and software issues, managing computer systems, and maintaining network security.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users via help desk, remote access possible service calls
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues across various operating systems including Windows, macos
- Manage computer systems and perform installations, configurations, and updates.
- Support network administration tasks including Azure Remote Desktop and Windows Office 365 Environment
- Utilize tools for troubleshooting computer and office 365 related problems
- Assist with Azure Remote Desktop and remote environments
- Assess current configurations making recommenations for upgrade/replacement.
- Maintain documentation of technical processes and user guides.
- Collaborate with team members on projects related to IT support and computer management.
- Provide training and guidance to users on the use of mobile devices and Microsoft Office applications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support or help desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, desktop support, and IT infrastructure.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including LAN administration, DNS management, TCP protocols, and Meraki devices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Enviromentment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work with ticketing systems for answering customer requests.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
