About Us:
XL Concrete Masonry is the leading structural concrete and masonry company in Las Vegas, Nevada dedicated to delivering high-quality projects. With a commitment to excellence and a strong reputation in the industry, we are expanding our team and looking for a talented Concrete Estimator to join us. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, and construction estimating. If you have experience with HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and possess excellent negotiation skills, we want to hear from you. Must be a Las Vegas local!

Position: Concrete Estimator

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit accurate bids and estimates for construction projects
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine scope of work
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
- Utilize HeavyBid software to create detailed cost estimates
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures
- Review and assess change orders and provide recommendations

Qualifications:

- Strong background in construction estimating
- Proficiency in HeavyBid software
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Knowledge of cost control methods in construction projects
- Experience in project management and contract negotiations
