The selected candidate for this position will be part of our regional centre of excellence, whose primary focus is to support and enhance Caterpillar’s dealer network, which is a competitive strength and the critical way in which we serve our customers.
As a Condition Monitoring and Customer Value Agreements Operations Consultant at Caterpillar, you will develop, implement and manage, in collaboration with our dealers and internal Caterpillar partners, dealer process, capacity and capability improvement plans in these two key strategic growth areas, including optimization of the monitoring of equipment thru electronic, fluids analysis and other equipment and fleet data to provide value added recommendations and excellence in the operational execution of customer contracts, to optimize equipment maintenance, repair and utilization and drive aftermarket sales growth.
Challenges include delivering results, considering alternative courses of actions, making timely decisions, and developing greater communication skills.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Driving excellence in Condition Monitoring and CVA operational execution in collaboration with a defined group of dealers within the Africa, Middle East, and Eurasia Region, achieving targets on selected metrics.

Improve dealer capabilities and capacity in the above-mentioned areas.

Collaborate with internal partners to elaborate new creative plans to leverage Condition Monitoring for enhancing customer support

Execute Condition Monitoring strategies for the critical market segments: Construction Industries, Mining, Electric Power, Oil & Gas, etc.

Perform on-site dealer evaluation of operational capabilities related to CVA management and Condition Monitoring

Provide direction and training to less experienced personnel.

Perform complex analysis work; identify and resolve strategic problems.

Keeping up with new industry trends through experience, stay abreast of industry and technology changes and relate those changes to Caterpillar, dealer and customer needs.

Required Qualifications:
-
A college or university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Business, Marketing) or equivalent work experience

6+ years experience in relevant industry (Earthmoving, Marine, Oil & Gas, Mining)
-
Able to work independently, to communicate effectively and to influence others in the work group, dealer personnel and customers.

Able to work on larger scale, more complex assignments and provide directions to more junior employees.

Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Desired Qualifications:
-
6+ years of job-related work experience in service contracts management or equipment / fleet management
-
Knowledge of Caterpillar products and dealer network
-
Additional languages would be an advantage – Arabic and French would be particularly desirable
