Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical Contract Administrator / Estimator with 3–5 years of experience in the UAE construction or fit-out industry. This dual role combines contract management and cost estimation responsibilities to support projects from tender to completion. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation, review, and administration of contracts while ensuring accurate project cost estimation, compliance with regulations, and effective coordination between teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts Administration

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements in accordance with UAE laws and company standards.
  • Support the tendering process, including preparation of bid documents, tender evaluations, and comparisons.
  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Maintain organized contract records and documentation for traceability and audit readiness.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, variations, and extension-of-time claims as required.
  • Identify risks and provide proactive recommendations to minimize exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  • Support project close-out, including warranties, as-built documentation, and final accounts.

Estimating & Cost Control

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender submissions.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate costing.
  • Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations for cost efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date material, labour, and subcontractor rate databases.
  • Provide value engineering solutions and identify opportunities to optimize project budgets.
  • Work closely with procurement and project teams to align estimates with budgets and actual performance.
  • Monitor project costs and support reporting on financial performance.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator, Estimator, or in a similar role within the UAE construction or fit-out sector.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE contract law, FIDIC, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and commercial management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and estimating software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and drafting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business Administration.
  • Additional certifications in contract management or cost estimation are an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
