About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Contracts Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, as well as strong familiarity with GCC civil law. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage contract risks, prepare claims, and ensure compliance with all contractual and legal obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage various types of construction contracts and related documentation.
  • Conduct detailed contract and legal risk reviews to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
  • Lead or support contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and vendors.
  • Prepare and manage claims documentation in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret and apply GCC Civil Law and advise project teams on contractual rights and obligations.
  • Assist in RFPs, contract clarifications, and responses to PTC (Pre-Tender Clarifications).
  • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all contracts and variations are properly documented.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in construction contract administration or related legal/commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of GCC civil law and construction contract terminology.
  • Proven experience handling FIDIC-based contracts.
  • Knowledge of construction consultancy agreements, associated liabilities, and insurance types (Professional Indemnity, Third Party Liability, Workers Compensation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working with a consultancy or contracting firm in the GCC region.
