Job Description:

The Data Entry Clerk will support our accounting operations by accurately entering, organizing, and maintaining financial and job-related data. This position requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter vendor invoices, receipts, and payment records into the accounting system
  • Maintain accurate records of job costs, materials, and expenses
  • Support the accounting team with data organization
  • File and maintain documents in both digital and physical formats
  • Sorting, logging, photocopying, and filing invoices
  • Communicate with vendors and internal team members to verify information
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed

Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in data entry or accounting support (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Construction industry experience is a bonus but not required
