Job Description:
The Data Entry Clerk will support our accounting operations by accurately entering, organizing, and maintaining financial and job-related data. This position requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter vendor invoices, receipts, and payment records into the accounting system
- Maintain accurate records of job costs, materials, and expenses
- Support the accounting team with data organization
- File and maintain documents in both digital and physical formats
- Sorting, logging, photocopying, and filing invoices
- Communicate with vendors and internal team members to verify information
- Perform other administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in data entry or accounting support (preferred)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Construction industry experience is a bonus but not required
