Construction Laborer (All Outdoor Construction Trades) - Section 3

Hands-on work on a heavy civil construction project for the St. Bernard Neighborhood Playground Stormwater Management Project (HUD Section 3 Project 4429), located at Willie Hall Playground,1101 Milton St., New Orleans, LA 70122.

This position supports a HUD-funded project subject to Section 3 hiring and reporting requirements. Individuals meeting the HUD low-income limit ($43,900 annually / $21.10 per hour for the New Orleans area), public housing residents, or YouthBuild participants are strongly encouraged to apply.

If no immediate openings are available, interested candidates may still submit information to be considered for future opportunities on Section 3 projects.

Note: This is a HUD Section 3 project. Individuals meeting Section 3 income or residency criteria will receive priority consideration in accordance with federal guidelines.

Requirements:

• 18 years or older

• Valid driver’s license and TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
