We are looking for a skilled Construction Supervisor from Interior or Landscaping background to oversee and manage a range of projects, including interior construction, pool installations, and landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction project management, a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to lead diverse teams. This position requires excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage daily activities of construction teams on interior, pool, and landscape projects.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
- Monitor project progress and address any challenges, ensuring projects stay on track and within scope.
- Review blueprints and plans, providing input and recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
- Manage and inspect the quality of work from subcontractors and in-house staff.
- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, material costs, labor hours, and other necessary documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Resolve issues that arise on-site promptly and effectively, minimizing project disruptions.
- Provide leadership and training to team members, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, specifically managing interior, pool, or landscape projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- In-depth understanding of safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or related field preferred.
