Consultant Dermatologist

Job Description

The Consultant Dermatologist will work as part of the dermatology team, providing high-quality clinical care and supporting the Lead Dermatologist in delivering comprehensive patient services.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct dermatology consultations, physical examinations, and clinical assessments under the clinical oversight of the Lead Dermatologist.

● Take comprehensive medical histories and document findings accurately and promptly.

● Work collaboratively with the Lead Dermatologist to formulate and refine individualized treatment plans.

● Assist in interpreting diagnostic tests and contribute to clinical decision-making.

● Provide evidence-based medical advice, treatments, and follow-up care within the clinical protocols of the practice.

● Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards.

● Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, procedure expectations, medication usage, and follow-up requirements.

● Support the Lead Dermatologist during procedures when required and participate in ensuring high standards of patient care.

● Adhere to all clinical guidelines, ethical practices, and strict standards of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

● MD / DDVL / DNB in Dermatology from a recognized institution (mandatory).

● Open to dermatologists across all experience levels, including fresh consultants.

● Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, patient communication, and dermatological procedures.

● Fluency in Tamil and English is essential.
