Consultant Engineer

Job Summary:

The Consulting Engineer provides expert technical advice, design solutions, and project management support across engineering projects. The role involves managing client requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, coordinating with authorities through platforms such as TAMM, and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional engineering consultation and technical expertise to clients and project teams.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs and submissions comply with local codes, standards, and authority requirements.
• Handle TAMM transactions including project submissions, building permits, NOC applications, and inspection requests.
• Coordinate with relevant government authorities, municipalities, and utility departments.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and quality assurance reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure project alignment.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and documentation for clients and authorities.
• Support tendering, cost estimation, and project scheduling activities.
• Identify and implement design optimizations and value engineering opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers or draftsmen as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (as applicable).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering consultancy, including TAMM system handling.
• Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi Municipality and DMT (Department of Municipalities and Transport) regulations.
• Experience with design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
