About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care in hematology and transfusion medicine, including complex case management.
• Lead and supervise transfusion services, ensuring compliance with international standards.

• Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and train junior doctors, fellows, and medical students.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold Western Board Certification in Hematology/Transfusion Medicine from one of the following recognized pathways:

• US Board Certification
• FRCS / MRCP / CCST (UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia)
• Diplôme d’Études Spécialisées (DES) / CIS – French Board
• Facharzt & Sub‑Board / Fellowship (Germany or equivalent)
• Post‑Board Fellowship with relevant experience
• CCST UK – Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (UK)

• Minimum of 3–5 years post‑Board/Fellowship experience in hematology and transfusion medicine.
• Demonstrated expertise in transfusion protocols, blood banking, and hematological disorders.
