Consultant Orthodontist

Gelos Dentistry, a state-of-the-art, digitally advanced dental clinic opening soon in Mohali, Punjab, seeks a compassionate and highly skilled Consulting Orthodontist to join our multidisciplinary team.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Orthodontist to join our

practice as a consultant. The role involves providing orthodontic treatment

planning and execution on a patient-to-patient basis, in close

coordination with the in-house dental team. The orthodontist will play an

integral part in expanding our speciality services and enhancing patient

outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Conduct orthodontic consultations and diagnostic evaluations (clinical

exams, study models, records, radiographs).

- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring clarity and

transparency.

- Perform fixed orthodontic treatments including:

● Metal Brackets

● Ceramic Brackets

● Self-ligating Brackets (Damon/3M)

● Lingual Orthodontics

● Clear Aligners (Invisalign, Flash, etc.)

- Perform removable orthodontic treatments including:

● Myofunctional appliances

● Habit-breaking appliances

● Space maintainers

● Retainers (Hawley, Essix, Bonded)

- Carry out adjunctive orthodontic procedures when necessary

(mini-screws, interproximal reduction, etc.).

- Collaborate with the in-house team for multidisciplinary cases

(prosthodontic, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic).

- Explain treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes to

patients.

- Ensure accurate documentation, record-keeping, and follow-up.

Qualifications

Education:

● MDS in Orthodontics from a recognized dental college in India.

● Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience (post-MDS),

including consulting practice.

● Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.

● Experience in both fixed and removable orthodontics as well as

clear aligner therapy.

Experience:

• 1–3 years of clinical experience preferred (fresh postgraduates with exceptional skills will be considered).

Position Details:

• Part-time schedule: 2–3 clinical days per week.
• Competitive compensation with performance bonuses.
• Regular salary increments following performance review meetings every six months.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Zirakpur, Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
