Consultant Psychiatrist (Doctor)

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and therapy for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health concerns.
• Provide medication management, monitor progress, and adjust treatment as required.
• Offer psychotherapy or collaborate with psychologists/therapists for therapy-based care.
• Manage patients with acute psychiatric conditions, including crisis intervention.
• Document all clinical care in accordance with medical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychologists, counsellors, nurses, social workers).
• Educate patients and families about mental illnesses, treatment choices, and recovery plans.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and staff training programs.
• Maintain ethical, confidential, and patient-centered practices.

Qualifications

• MBBS + MD/DNB in Psychiatry (required).
• Valid Medical Council Registration.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in IP/OP psychiatric care.
• Knowledge of latest psychiatric guidelines & treatment protocols.
• Ability to handle emergency psychiatric cases.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
