Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Content & Copywriter to support our marketing and communications team. In this role you will: write across formats (blogs, social captions, newsletters, press releases); interview providers and patients for testimonials and case stories; edit copy for clinical accuracy, tone and compliance; collaborate on scripts for social videos and podcast episodes; and optimize all written content for SEO and readability.

This role is critical in amplifying our brand voice, reinforcing our mission of “custom orthopedic treatment made for you, with you,” and helping patients feel seen, informed and empowered.

Responsibilities

  • Produce 2–3 blog articles per week (aligned with clinical specialties, patient education, lifestyle/rehab topics)

  • Write social media captions, newsletter copy and press releases

  • Interview providers and patients, gather testimonials, case stories, quotes, insights

  • Edit all copy for clinical accuracy, tone (clear, trustworthy, patient-friendly), brand voice and regulatory/compliance standards

  • Collaborate with video/podcast teams to craft scripts, storyboards or outlines for social videos or podcast episodes

  • Ensure all written content is optimized for SEO (keyword research, on-page best practices, meta descriptions) and readability (clear structure, headings, plain-language when appropriate)

  • Work with analytics/SEO team to track performance of content, iterate based on metrics and feedback

  • Manage deadlines, maintain editorial calendar, coordinate with clinical, marketing, digital teams

Ideal Candidate

You have:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to shift tone between clinical/technical and patient-friendly

  • Experience in healthcare, orthopedics, physical therapy or related field preferred (or willingness to learn specialty medical concepts)

  • Solid grasp of SEO best practices and content marketing in digital channels

  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable conducting interviews with providers/patients and translating insights into compelling copy

  • Keen attention to detail, especially with clinical accuracy and regulatory compliance

  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally (marketing, clinical, digital, video/podcast) and managing multiple deadlines

  • Ability to analyze content performance and iterate to improve engagement and ranking
