About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and creative Journalist / Content Writer to research, write, and edit stories for our educational magazine and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging content about schools, education trends, student life, and admission updates.

This role is perfect for someone who loves writing, interviewing, and storytelling within the education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write articles, features, and interviews focused on schools, teachers, students, and education leaders.
• Cover events, competitions, and activities happening across schools in the region.
• Write and edit content for magazines, newsletters, blogs, and social media posts.
• Conduct interviews with principals, educators, and achievers for editorial stories.
• Develop creative and informative content about admissions, school programs, and educational trends.
• Collaborate with designers and marketing teams to create visually engaging content layouts.
• Ensure all articles are accurate, engaging, and aligned with the brand’s tone and values.
• Proofread and fact-check content before publication.
• Stay updated with current affairs and developments in the education sector.
• Contribute to editorial planning, idea generation, and content calendar development.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or Education (Master’s preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or editorial work (experience in the education field preferred).
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English.
• Strong interviewing, research, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with digital content writing, SEO basics, and social media trends.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and multiple stories simultaneously.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and accuracy.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience writing for education magazines, newspapers, or EdTech companies.
• Ability to create both long-form and short-form content (articles, captions, web stories).
• Knowledge of local education systems, school networks, and academic trends.
• Photography or video storytelling skills are an added advantage.
