The Marketing Content Writer develops clear, compelling, and on-brand content across digital, print, and multimedia channels to support consistent messaging and strengthen the organization’s brand. The role partners closely with designers, strategists, and subject matter experts to ensure cohesive, high-quality campaign execution.
Content Development Responsibilities:- Write clear, compelling, and creative copy across a variety of channels, including digital ads, print campaigns, patient stories, video scripts, and social content.
- Adapt tone and style to suit diverse audiences and formats, from concise headlines to in-depth storytelling.
- Translate complex healthcare information into approachable, audience-friendly language.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical precision.
- Contribute to the development of campaign concepts and creative storytelling approaches that engage, inform, and inspire action.
- Develop persuasive and audience-specific copy for CRM and email marketing campaigns, supporting patient engagement and customer relationship strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Responsibilities:- Partner with designers to ensure copy and visuals work seamlessly together.
- Collaborate with strategists, marketers, and subject matter experts to shape campaign concepts and messaging.
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions and provide input on campaign strategy and concepts.
- Support integrated campaigns that span digital, print, video, and experiential channels.
- Build strong relationships across the organization to understand priorities and uncover impactful storytelling opportunities.
Brand Excellence Responsibilities:- Uphold and evolve the UC Health brand voice, working with Content Manager to ensure consistency across all internal and external marketing and communications touchpoints.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen creative campaigns and differentiate the brand in the marketplace.
- Align messaging with brand guidelines, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor industry and creative trends to recommend new approaches that keep our messaging modern and relevant.
Own copywriting projects with detailed excellence to ensure the delivery of best-in-class projects in a timely manner. Responsibilities:- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and expectations.
- Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, accurate, and aligned with project objectives.
- Maintain organized workflows and communicate progress or challenges to Manager and project stakeholder.
- Continuously identify and implement processes improvements for increased efficiency and quality of our content.
- Proactively anticipate project needs, asking clarifying questions and identifying opportunities to streamline execution.
