Pay Package Breakdown

• Taxable Wages: $1,120 weekly

• Nontaxable Stipend: $1,246 weekly

• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay (36 hours): $2,366

Position Summary

A skilled Radiation Therapist is needed for a contract assignment in Dubuque, IA. This role involves delivering external beam radiation therapy following physician and physicist directives. The ideal candidate will excel at patient care, treatment accuracy, and maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to established protocols.

• Monitor patients for unusual physical or psychological reactions and immediately report any concerns to clinical leadership or the Radiation Oncology physician.

• Assist in emergency procedures when required.

• Maintain an organized, timely daily treatment schedule.

• Coordinate closely with physicians, medical physicists, nurses, and administrative staff to schedule treatments, simulations, and diagnostic studies.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card holder

• Certification: ARRT certification required

• Licensure: State Radiation Therapist License required upon hire

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

• Shift: 5×8s, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
