Role Summary

Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all contracts and commercial agreements related to design and build projects. Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle—from tender to closeout.


Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, NDAs, and MoUs for design and construction projects.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure contract terms align with project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify contractual risks, inconsistencies, or liabilities and propose mitigation measures.
  • Maintain an organized database of all contracts, change orders, and related correspondence.
  • Track key contractual milestones, deliverables, and payment schedules.
  • Support the tendering process by preparing contract documentation and advising on commercial terms.
  • Review project claims, variations, and disputes; assist in preparing documentation for arbitration or legal proceedings if required.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and client contractual obligations.
  • Liaise with legal advisors and external partners to ensure proper risk management and contract governance.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on contract administration and obligations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in contract management within design & build, construction, or engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC and other international contract frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Saudi construction laws and procurement regulations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software
