Contract Specialist

Purpose of the Role

HH Global is seeking a detail-oriented contracts attorney to join our global legal team, primarily focused on reviewing and managing confidentiality agreements (NDAs) across multiple jurisdictions. This role is ideal for someone with multinational experience and strong knowledge of contract terms commonly used in global commercial agreements, including NDAs related to M&A, RFPs, client engagements, and exploratory initiatives. Candidates with prior experience at global companies or legal process outsourcing firms are strongly encouraged to apply. The role also includes supporting legal operations through administration of legal technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, redline, and finalize NDAs using established playbooks and escalation protocols.
• Understand and apply nuances across different NDA types, including M&A-related NDAs, RFP and procurement NDAs, client NDAs (mutual vs. unilateral NDAs, etc.).
• Ensure consistency with global standards while adapting to jurisdictional requirements.
• Collaborate with legal and business stakeholders to ensure timely turnaround and risk mitigation.
• Administer legal systems, generate reports and similar activities, including e-billing, contract intake, DocuSign, contract lifecycle management and other legal department technology platforms.
• Support occasional contract reviews beyond NDAs, as time permits.
• Assist with process documentation and system improvements.
  

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• Law degree and license to practice in India.
• 3+ years of experience in contract review, ideally in a multinational or in-house setting.
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology and contract structures commonly used in global commercial agreements.
• Experience with legal operations tools is a strong plus (e.g., HighQ, DocuSign, ContractSafe, e-billing platforms).
• Comfort working across time zones and with global teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured playbooks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Pragmatic, business-oriented approach to legal risk.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, responsive, and approachable team player.
• Comfortable working independently and engaging with senior stakeholders.
