Job Overview

We are looking for a Contracts Administrator (Specialized in Construction Contracts) to join our growing team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and administering all project-related contracts to ensure full compliance with UAE laws and company standards. The role requires a strong background in FIDIC contracts, excellent legal and commercial understanding, and the ability to safeguard the company’s interests throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and other legal agreements in accordance with UAE laws and company policies.
  • Provide contractual and legal support to project, procurement, and management teams.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met and identify potential risks, claims, or disputes.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of all contractual correspondence, variations, and approvals.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel for dispute resolution, claims, or arbitration proceedings.
  • Prepare and support documentation for claims, variations, and change orders with proper contractual justification.
  • Support the tendering and bidding process by analyzing and reviewing contract terms and conditions.
  • Advise management and project teams on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor contract milestones, ensuring timely renewals, extensions, or terminations as per project and company requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Legal background preferred).
  • 5–8 years of proven experience as a Contracts Administrator within the UAE contracting/construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE Civil Code, FIDIC contract conditions, and construction law.
  • Strong experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and risk analysis.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contract management systems.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is an added advantage).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in dispute resolution, arbitration, or claims management.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
