We are seeking an experienced Cook with expertise in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of Indian dishes (curries, tandoori, snacks, regional specialties)
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and follow proper food safety procedures
- Assist in ingredient prep, inventory management, and stock monitoring
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience cooking Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of spices, masalas, and regional Indian recipes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in catering, tiffin services, or meal prep
- Food handling or HACCP certification
