Job Description

Title: Coordinator, Component Production Planning & Procurement

Reports to: Analyst Manager, Component Production Planning & Procurement

Overview

Supports the Component Procurement and Product Resourcing Team. Responsibilities include data collection and analysis, reporting, and problem-solving primarily related to Vendor Management, Delivery tracking, costing analysis and Data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support including data collection and validation. Maintain dashboards for top-line reporting for Manager
  • Maintain reporting tools for Delivery Tracking including Component Shortage Report, New Product Component Log, Backorder tracking, Open Sales Order Report, Daily Open Order reporting.
  • Strong relationship building with members of internal departments including Product Development, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations, and Information Technology.
  • Support additional Component Procurement related initiatives as needed.
  • Make productive contributions through talent, knowledge, skill, and good work habits.
  • Collaborate with fellow analysts within the team to understand Business Objects reporting.
  • PLM understanding for Product knowledge for various functionality – Direct Supply set up, Component Requisition release, Product Resourcing & Ad hoc information research.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining product resourcing cost charts.
  • Create price comparison for existing Finished good vendors and potential ASR vendors
  • Assist with data integrity projects when needed.
  • Weekly Meeting prep assistance when needed

Qualifications

  • Strong communication (English written and verbal) skills
  • Proficient Excel skills – pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
  • Ability to work with reporting tools – PLM
  • Demonstrates attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work within a minimal supervision, fast-paced environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office computer skills (specifically Excel, Word, and SAP)

Education

  • 4-year degree or 1-3 years’ experience required

Compensation: $27.22 - $31.25 per hour
