What we are looking for:
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead an innovative AI initiative leveraging Microsoft Copilot and related technologies to build a custom AI agent capable of referencing and integrating data from multiple enterprise sources. The TPM will bridge technical execution, stakeholder alignment, and strategic delivery — ensuring our client’s AI solution is scalable, secure, and business-ready.

This role combines technical expertise, AI familiarity, and strong project management discipline to drive the project from concept through deployment.

What you will do:
  • Project Leadership: Own end-to-end delivery of the AI agent project, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality management.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with client stakeholders to capture business objectives, data requirements, and AI use cases.
  • Technical Coordination: Partner with data engineers, AI developers, and solution architects to design and implement integrations with Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and internal data systems (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, CRM).
  • AI Solution Management: Oversee configuration, customization, and prompt engineering of Microsoft Copilot and associated APIs to ensure relevant, accurate, and compliant AI responses.
  • Data Integration: Coordinate data ingestion and reference strategies from multiple structured and unstructured data sources while ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business leaders, providing clear project updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Process & Quality: Implement agile best practices, monitor KPIs, and ensure the project aligns with both client success metrics and organizational standards.
  • Change Management: Guide end-user adoption and training for AI tools and workflows.

What makes you a good fit:
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally within AI, data, or software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Copilot / Azure AI technologies.
  • Proven ability to manage complex integrations involving multiple data sources and APIs.
  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern PM tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or Monday.com).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Strong grasp of data governance, security, and compliance principles.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, or Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, and knowledge retrieval systems (RAG).
  • Technical background (e.g., computer science, data engineering, or systems architecture).
  • PMP, CSM, or Microsoft Certified
