JOB PURPOSE
Create compelling, SEO-optimized content—including articles, landing pages, blog posts, and email campaigns—that strengthens brand presence, improves search performance, and drives audience engagement and lead generation. This role involves collaborating with marketing and client teams, conducting research to inform strategy, crafting clear and persuasive copy for diverse audiences, maintaining brand consistency, and leveraging analytics to optimize content effectiveness and support business goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to guide topic selection and publishing schedules.
Research and plan content strategies using SEO best practices for websites, blogs, landing pages, and email campaigns.
Create persuasive, audience-focused content that translates complex topics into clear, engaging language.
Ensure all content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with audience needs and brand standards.
Maintain brand consistency, tone, and messaging while contributing creative ideas for campaigns and new content formats.
Audit and update digital content regularly to reflect evolving strategies, industry trends, and company achievements.
Use analytics tools to track performance and apply data insights to improve content quality and effectiveness.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a structured system for tracking updates.
Stay current with industry trends, SEO best practices, and emerging digital content tools.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of professional copywriting experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Experienced in creating original, long-form website content that aligns with brand voice and engages target audiences across digital platforms.
Proficient in managing content, including editorial calendars, content audits, and performance tracking for strategic alignment and continual improvement.
Skilled at translating complex legal and technical information into clear, accessible, and engaging content tailored for diverse audiences.
Advanced research skills ensure all content is accurate, compliant, and clearly communicated, maintaining editorial integrity across all formats.
Meticulous attention to detail, along with strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills, to ensure polished content across all formats.
Solid understanding of SEO principles, including keyword use, metadata, internal links, and content structure to enhance visibility and performance.
Effective project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality content across multiple initiatives.
Strong team collaboration, working seamlessly with designers, developers, legal experts, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and impactful content.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience writing professional content in legal, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity using CMS platforms like WordPress and analytics tools such as Google Analytics for publishing and tracking content effectiveness.
A sharable portfolio of published work.
Proficiency in Spanish.
