Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Partner for our Corporate Finance Advisory division. The successful candidate will lead the advisory practice, focusing on providing strategic financial advice to clients, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, restructuring, and other complex financial transactions. The role requires a deep understanding of the corporate finance landscape, strong leadership skills, and cultivating and maintaining relationships with high profile clients. A key aspect of this role is driving business development and acquiring new clients to expand the firm's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the Corporate Finance Advisory team, driving growth and ensuring the delivery of high quality advisory services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the advisory business, focusing on key markets and sectors.
  • Act as a key advisor to clients on a range of corporate finance matters, including M&A, capital raising, and restructuring.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate finance space, including M&A advisory, capital markets, and restructuring services.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies aimed at acquiring new clients and expanding the firm's client base.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with other partners and senior leaders to cross sell services and leverage the firm's broader capabilities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with clients, understanding their strategic objectives and financial needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and secure mandates for corporate finance advisory projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and success in all transactions.

Transaction Management:

  • Oversee the execution of complex financial transactions, including M&A, debt and equity financing, and financial restructuring.
  • Ensure all transactions are conducted with the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on deal structuring, valuation, negotiation, and due diligence processes.

Team Development:

  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to client service, ethical standards, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other partners and senior leaders to align the team's efforts with the firm's overall strategic goals.

Market and Industry Insights:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments that impact corporate finance activities.
  • Provide thought leadership and represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and client events.
  • Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital by authoring articles, white papers, and other thought pieces.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of years of experience in corporate finance, with a strong track record in M&A, capital raising, and financial advisory services.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and driving business growth in a corporate finance or investment banking environment.
  • Extensive experience in business development and acquiring new clients, with a demonstrated ability to expand a firm's market presence.
  • Extensive network of contacts within the financial and corporate sectors.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong negotiation and deal making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven business development acumen with the ability to generate new client relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Arabic speaker is a must.
