Position Overview
The Corporate Social Media & Web Manager is responsible for owning and elevating our hotel’s digital presence. This role leads social media strategy, content creation, website updates, and digital communication efforts to support hotel awareness, guest engagement, and revenue-driving initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with strong technical skills, excellent communication, and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies to grow hotel’s awareness, engagement, and reach.
  • Create, capture, and edit high-quality on-site content including photos, videos, reels, and promotional materials.
  • Manage daily posting across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and additional platforms as needed.
  • Promote hotel happenings, real-time updates, citywide events, and seasonal campaigns across social channels.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up to date with social trends, competitive activity, and emerging platform features.
  • Ensure consistent hotel voice, look, and feel across all channels.

Website & Digital Content

  • Update and maintain the company website (WordPress), including hotel and restaurant information, hotel package details, promotional content, and more.
  • Support SEO-minded content updates to enhance online visibility and guest accessibility.
  • Maintain the digital photo library, ensuring updated imagery for marketing and sales needs.

Email Marketing

  • Create and send email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, iContact, and Revinate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather content, schedule sends and analyze campaign performance with key metrics.
  • Support revenue-driving initiatives by promoting hotel packages, special offers, and availability-driven promotions seasonally.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Reservations, and Culinary teams on promotions, event content, and creative assets.
  • Assist the Sales team by designing promotional collateral including flyers, digital ads, tradeshow materials, and client gifts.
  • Photograph meeting setups, events and catering for marketing and sales use.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and analyze social media performance to identify trends and optimize strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on engagement, reach, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness.

Work Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Visual Communications, Hospitality, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous experience as a Social Media Manager, Digital Marketing Coordinator, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of major social platforms, best practices, and content trends.
  • Ability to create and edit photo/video content (mobile and/or DSLR experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Canva and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud. Graphic design skills is a plus.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, iContact, Revinate).
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to bring fresh concepts and campaign ideas.

Physical Demands in the Work Environment

Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift to twenty-five pounds.
