Counter Staff

Job Summary:

The Counter Staff is responsible for greeting customers, taking and processing orders accurately, handling payments, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. They maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter area and support overall restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers politely and take food and beverage orders.
• Process orders accurately through the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Handle cash, card, or digital payments and issue receipts.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the counter and dining area.
• Assist in packaging take-away and delivery orders.
• Provide menu information and suggest items to customers when needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Restock counter supplies and ensure proper inventory levels.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or fast-food outlet preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling ability.
• Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with good multitasking and time management skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

Pay: AED1,300.00 - AED1,400.00 per month
