Job Description:

  • Cooperating with local team and global teams on daily shared activities.

  • Assisting AP processes.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Preparing Internal Control Activities which are the responsibilities of following the defined rules and procedures of the Company
  • Assisting the team for tax and financial audit process, providing support to general accounting and tax operations and declarations
  • Preparing necessary documents for monthly WHT, Stamp tax declarations .
  • Assisting the team with technopark related tax exemption reportings and willing to learn technopark-related tax regulations
  • Assisting monthly Payroll process by providing controllership-related inputs, performing internal controls and payment process
  • Supporting a team for ad-hoc topics based on USGAAP or Turkish Chart of Accounts.
  • Support to ensure all internal and external statutory reporting requirements are met
  • Contribute and participate in the finance department’s new development projects and required system changes
  • Coordinate with other finance functions (e.g. client finance management, cross-border tax functions)
  • Being a backup for the statutory controller role in the future


Required Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics and related disciplines
  • 2+ years’ experience in accounting/tax / outsourcing department of an international firm (Experience in an audit firm will be a plus)
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Powerful analytical & problem solving skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, deal with competing demands, and self-manage day-to-day activities
  • Pro-activeness, willingness to learn new tasks and accounting skills
  • Good understanding of local tax and legal regulations
  • Basic knowledge of preparation of tax returns
  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP is required
  • Basic knowledge of SAP is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications
  • No obligation of military service for male candidates
