We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Country Manager DACH to lead our business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
This is a key leadership role where you will develop and execute Humanscale’s regional growth strategy, strengthen our market position, and lead a talented sales team to deliver outstanding results.
You will report directly to the Managing Director, Continental Europe, and work closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, A&D, and Operations to ensure alignment and excellence across all functions.
Design and execute business plans and strategies that will contribute to achieving company objectives.
Develop and lead the DACH sales team to meet and exceed goals.
Support, coach, and motivate your team to reach their full potential.
Observe and participate in meetings with team members for their development and training.
Evaluate the skills of sales representatives and maintain individual development plans.
Drive profitable growth and ensure achievement of revenue and performance targets.
Manage the team responsible for executing the commercial policy and ensure compliance with discounts and terms of sale.
Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, dealers, distributors, and the A&D community.
Work effectively with other Humanscale teams such as A&D, Global Accounts, and Marketing.
Complete commercial activity reports, business reviews, and 30–60–90 day forecasts; maintain the CRM database.
Oversee operations to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
Represent Humanscale at trade fairs, client events, and industry gatherings such as Orgatec.
Manage conflicts with dealers and distributors in a constructive, brand-positive way.
Analyse market trends and competitive activities to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with the European leadership team to ensure regional consistency while adapting to local market needs.
Inform management about service results and provide regular updates on strategic direction.
Act as an ambassador for Humanscale’s sustainability and design-driven culture.
You are an ambitious, people-oriented leader who enjoys combining strategy with action.
You have a proven track record of building strong teams and growing business in complex, design-driven environments.
We believe you have:
Minimum 10 years of B2B commercial experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven success in achieving challenging country sales targets.
Background in premium design, office furniture, or ergonomic products is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities – leading by example and in the field.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Analytical mindset with solid business acumen.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Fluent in German and good English skills (both written and spoken)
