About the Role

As the Country Manager – Sales (Pakistan), you will be responsible for leading ICT’s sales strategy, operations, and market expansion efforts across Pakistan. You will oversee sales performance, develop partner networks, grow revenue, strengthen vendor relations, and ensure alignment with ICT’s overall APAC strategy.

This is a senior leadership role requiring market expertise, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to drive ICT’s growth in a competitive and evolving technology landscape.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Lead sales forecasting, strategic planning, and budgeting processes, shaping the future of the organization with data-driven decisions.
  • Champion Quality & Consistency: Proactively ensure that all planning efforts maintain the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency, setting the bar for excellence.
  • Set and Achieve Goals: Ensure that sales objectives are clearly defined and assigned promptly, driving performance across teams and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Innovate & Improve: Take the initiative to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the sales process, working with sales management to streamline operations and boost efficiency.
  • Collaborate & Support: Work hand-in-hand with sales management to pinpoint bottlenecks, implement solutions, and elevate the overall sales process quality.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Monitor and ensure the accuracy and effective distribution of sales and financial reports, empowering leadership with the intelligence needed for success.
  • Shape Incentives: Provide strategic input to senior leadership on the development and administration of sales incentive programs that drive high performance.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute innovative strategies to meet sales targets, ensuring clear communication and alignment with executive leadership on goal progress.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers, understanding their needs and working collaboratively to drive mutual success.
  • Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends, gaining deep insights into competitive landscapes and market shifts that impact customer environments and business strategies.
  • Engaging Presentations: Articulate compelling value propositions through presentations and proposals, making a strong case for how the company’s solutions drive business outcomes.
  • Adapt & Evolve: Report on shifts in strategic direction and market conditions, adapting to changes and ensuring that plans remain relevant and impactful.
  • Lead Change: Take charge in implementing and supporting company initiatives, ensuring that strategies are executed with consistency and precision.
  • Expand Territory & Reach: Drive revenue and distribution growth within each sales territory, strengthening relationships with vendors and channel partners, and being vigilant about competitive activity.
  • Optimize Operations: Manage and grow a cost-effective, efficient distributor network across multiple countries, ensuring the business scales seamlessly across regions.
  • Innovative Marketing Strategies: Develop targeted sales and marketing strategies to penetrate new markets, leveraging existing vendor relationships to maximize opportunities.
  • Action-Oriented Reporting: Deliver clear, actionable reports on emerging opportunities, ensuring leadership has the information they need to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work closely with senior management to develop the annual sales and marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals and business objectives.
  • Flexible Execution: Adapt to evolving business needs and manage additional tasks as required, demonstrating a proactive and adaptable mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Business or a related field from a prestigious university.
  • Advanced certifications in Sales and Marketing are highly preferred, showcasing your commitment to continuous professional growth and expertise.
  • 15+ years in sales operations, enablement, revenue operations, or equivalent function with experience with global sales teams.
  • Researched, designed, and implemented automated sales processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and visibility.
  • Experience using and developing reports, metrics, and dashboards with Excel or other relevant sales metric tools and programs.

Skills:

  • Clear approach for solution/consultative-based selling.
  • Strong negotiation skills to drive deals to ensure successful closes and a high win rate.
  • Strong relationships with key customers and understanding of the markets and national initiatives.
  • Excellent listening, oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Team player, Self-motivated, punctual & well-groomed.
  • Strong executive presence, leadership and communication/influencing skills, a high degree of energy, intelligence, and self-confidence.
  • Previous distribution sales experience with a successful sales track record
  • Previous working experience in a rapid sales growth environment
  • An ability to build relationships with people at all levels
  • Strong mindset for continuous improvement and meeting or exceeding expectations, and able to demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality
