Couriers Communication Manager

The Opportunity:

Join Meituan’s strategic overseas business and play a pivotal role in building strong communication bridges between the platform and couriers across the Middle East. This position offers direct engagement with top global partners, the chance to develop new markets from scratch, and a dynamic environment ideal for rapid career growth and global exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rider Communication Mechanism: Establish and maintain a structured communication system between the platform and riders, ensuring timely feedback and clear transmission of platform strategies, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial ecosystem.
• On-Ground Engagement: Regularly visit and communicate with riders and 3PL partners to collect and analyze core issues (e.g., order dispatch, compliance, rules rationality), identify solutions, follow up on implementation, and provide clear feedback to riders.
• Influential Rider Network: Identify key influential riders in different regions and use them as communication bridges to convey platform strategies and enhance trust and collaboration.
• Organize Dialogue Meetings: Plan and facilitate communication meetings between riders and the platform, guiding discussions on common issues and coordinating with relevant teams for solution implementation.
• PR and Storytelling: Identify impactful stories reflecting the platform’s social value (employment opportunities, improving riders’ lives, algorithm transparency), collaborate with the PR team, and promote positive social impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, with 5+ years of experience in external communication . Prior experience in food delivery, express services, logistics, ride-hailing, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, familiarity with Middle Eastern culture and rider communities, fluent in English, and proficiency in Arabic or Hindi to quickly build trust with riders.
• Excellent analytical and summarization skills to identify key issues, promote solutions, and spot PR opportunities.
• Strong event planning and facilitation skills to organize offline discussions, guide conversations, and manage the pace and direction of communication effectively.
• Overseas work experience and prior experience at leading internet companies.
