Let's shape the future of wealth management together.GENERAL DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Derivatives Competence Centre in Singapore. As part of Credit Risk Asia, you will work closely together with Front Office and Markets to structure and manage credit transactions for a portfolio of large and/or complex clients with substantial trading needs. In addition to your day-to-day Credit Officer responsibilities, you will support credit methodology team when it comes to lending value assessment and projects and act as knowledge centre within Credit Asia for derivatives and product credit and market risks. The Derivatives Competence Centre team is also responsible for a portfolio of projects to further enhance credit risk methodologies and systems in close collaboration with the HQ in Switzerland and the different stakeholders in the Region. YOUR CHALLENGE KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION Core Responsibilities Pro-actively structure and manage credit risk of a portfolio of large and/or complex trading clients (ETD / OTC trading on FX, Equities and Rates) and exercise delegated credit authority Handling of daily credit risk management tasks (risk identification & mitigation, setting /calculating/verifying margin requirements, margin shortfalls and limit excess handling, intraday monitoring of large FX trading clients etc.) Preparation of comprehensive, analytical and detailed credit requests for new credit transactions, amendments and annual reviews Work with legal and external counsel to draft non-standard credit documents Give ad-hoc approvals for trade requests and advise on complex and large derivatives portfolios (client-specific margin requirements, monitoring solutions, recognition and netting of structures and option trading strategies etc.) Acting as centre of competence within credit for derivatives product know-how, margining concepts, margining systems and other trading related topics Drive the development of the overall credit risk framework regarding derivatives and lending value methodologies Regulatory Responsibilities &/or Risk Management Demonstrate appropriate values and behaviours including but not limited to standards on honesty and integrity, due care and diligence, fair dealing (treating customers fairly), management of conflicts of interest, competence and continuous development, adequate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations YOUR PROFILE SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION Personal and Social Proactive, hands-on and solution-oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team player and able to work under pressure Able to understand clients' needs Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence across senior levels and global teams Professional and Technical Senior Credit Officer (10+yrs experience) with in-depth product knowledge and ability to structure, execute and manage large and/or complex credit transactions Ability to take quick, independent credit decisions under pressure and in close collaboration with product specialists and RMs University degree preferably in Economics, Finance or Banking Quantitative background, preferably CFA or FRM Charter holder Able to manage a portfolio of projects besides daily business as a Derivatives Credit Officer Understanding of Wealth Management Industry and Asian Markets/Clients Previous experience with FX Trading / Margin systems (preferably Margin Man and/or Murex) Strong IT skills (Microsoft, VBA, SQL, Access, Python, Bloomberg etc.)We are looking forward to receiving your full job application through our online application tool.
