CRM & E-Commerce Manager (Full-Time | SKINN Cosmetics)

About SKINN

At SKINN Cosmetics, we believe professional-grade skincare should deliver visible, transformative results. Founded by esthetician and product formulator Dimitri James, we bridge the gap between beauty and science—empowering confidence through education, authenticity, and performance-driven innovation.

We are seeking a CRM & E-Commerce Manager with deep expertise in lifecycle marketing, segmentation, deliverability, retention strategy, and promotional execution. This role also supports Shopify operations, launch planning, and merchandising alignment. The ideal candidate brings strong ideas, proposes segmentation strategies, builds campaigns independently, and ensures flawless execution across email, SMS, and web touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM: Email & SMS (Primary Focus)

  • Build, schedule, and deploy email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo and Attentive from start to finish
  • Write or refine on-brand promotional and educational copy for email and SMS
  • Own segmentation strategy, using data to determine the best audiences for launches, promotions, and newsletters
  • Optimize targeting based on customer behavior, cohort trends, and product affinities
  • Use dynamic content, conditional logic, and personalization within Klaviyo
  • Execute SMS/MMS campaigns in Attentive following industry best practices
  • Conduct full QA across rendering, links, logic, UTMs, segmentation, and suppressions
  • Protect email and SMS deliverability through engaged segment management, compliance, and list-health monitoring
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations to improve results

Launch Planning & Promotional Execution

  • Plan and coordinate new product launches and promotional events
  • Align launch messaging and promotional mechanics with e-commerce and creative teams
  • Build CRM calendars that support product releases, seasonal campaigns, and sitewide sales
  • Ensure consistent launch and promotional messaging across email, SMS, homepage banners, collection pages, and product pages
  • Communicate launch requirements clearly to design, operations, and brand teams
  • Manage timelines, assets, and rollout details to ensure seamless execution

Retention & Lifecycle Strategy

  • Build and optimize Klaviyo flows using advanced logic and Shopify triggers
  • Develop cross-sell, upsell, replenishment, winback, and subscription retention touchpoints
  • Use segmentation, predictive analytics, and cohort insights to drive repeat purchases
  • Evaluate CRM performance and identify opportunities to improve key retention metrics
  • Influence campaign calendars through data-backed recommendations

Shopify Operations & Promotions

  • Create and QA discount codes, sitewide promotions, tiered offers, and gift-with-purchase campaigns
  • Update homepage banners, promotional blocks, and collection merchandising
  • Monitor subscription performance in ReCharge and identify retention opportunities
  • Ensure consistency between Shopify, Klaviyo, Attentive, and creative assets
  • Support site navigation improvements and CRO updates related to retention and revenue
  • Create product and collection pages for new launches

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with designers to develop campaign visuals and email layouts
  • Build clear email outlines and wireframes for the creative team
  • Communicate proactively with brand teams regarding campaign timelines, assets, and promotional details
  • Use AI tools to increase accuracy, speed, and efficiency
  • Identify workflow improvements and assist with implementing new processes

What This Role Is Not

This position is not a fit for someone who:

  • Requires step-by-step guidance for building segments, flows, or audiences
  • Cannot independently determine appropriate target audiences for campaigns
  • Lacks understanding of how segmentation impacts deliverability and revenue
  • Is unfamiliar with filters, triggers, suppressions, and conditional splits
  • Is not comfortable making updates in Klaviyo without supervision
  • Avoids writing email or SMS copy
  • Struggles with basic Shopify updates such as discounts or homepage banners
  • Requires heavy oversight to QA or complete tasks

We are looking for someone confident and experienced in CRM, and able to execute quickly and accurately.

  • Have a strong grasp of deliverability, list health, suppressions, and compliance
  • Can write clear, engaging promotional copy
  • Understand Shopify merchandising and how site updates drive CRM performance
  • Communicate clearly with designers and cross-functional teams
  • Manage deadlines and calendars with ease
  • Are highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
