About the company

We are a multinational company among the leading paint manufacturers in the world. We are searching for an energetic and self-motivated candidate for our customer service department (only Omani Nationals), with at least 3 years’ experience in the field of sales or customer service.

Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities:

· Serves walk-in customers by providing product information.

· Immediately respond to customers’ inquiries through calls or social media.

· Resolving product and service problems. In case he/she cannot resolve the problem to escalate it and collaborate with the technical team by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.

· Create sales orders in the MIS.

· Attracts potential customers by answering product questions and suggesting alternative more suitable products and services.

· Collect the required documents from salesmen or customers to open new customer accounts.

· Maintains customer records by updating account information.

· Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments in case of sales returns etc.

· Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

· Prepares reports (e.g. monthly sales, sales per category, complaints report, etc.) by collecting and analyzing customer information.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Take the extra mile to engage customers

Requirements and skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a Client Service Representative
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Have strong technical acumen and be willing and capable to learn about paints
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school diploma
  • Very good knowledge of ERP software and MS Office
  • Excellent level of speaking and writing English language

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • University/college degree
  • Familiarity with office & ERP software and phone systems
  • Previous experience 3 years, especially in the particular industry, is preferred

Place & Working Hours

Rusayl Industrial Area

7am – 4pm Weekdays
