Key Responsibilities:
- Build predictive and prescriptive models for drilling, reservoir, and production data.
- Perform data mining, statistical analysis, and ML modeling for complex energy datasets.
- Collaborate with engineers to design data-driven optimization frameworks.
- Integrate AI models with SCADA, IoT, and real-time oilfield systems.
- Develop visual analytics dashboards and automated data pipelines.
- Apply deep learning techniques to sensor and time-series data.
- Present technical findings to stakeholders for strategic decision-making.
Required Qualification / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in oil & gas, industrial, or energy domains.
- Expertise in Python, R, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, PyTorch).
- Proficiency in handling structured/unstructured data and big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop).
- Strong background in statistics, predictive modeling, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of production optimization, drilling analytics, and asset management.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
