Key Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place and cook dishes in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Support the Chef de Partie in day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining smooth workflow within the section.
- Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards as per HACCP requirements.
- Ensure consistent portioning, garnishing, and plating of food across all service periods.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen sections and the stewarding team for smooth service.
- Train and mentor Commis Chefs to build team capability and maintain performance consistency.
- Participate in menu testing, product innovation, and new promotions as directed by senior chefs.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, report maintenance issues, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.
