Job Summary:

Vilafortuny, a premier dental and cosmetic polyclinic located on Al Wasl Road in Dubai, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. As the only Digital Smile Design (DSD) certified clinic in the Middle East, we pride ourselves on delivering patient-centered care using cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will support our dental professionals in providing a wide range of services, ensuring optimal patient comfort and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Preparation: Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring their comfort and addressing any initial concerns.​
• Chairside Assistance: Assist dentists during various procedures, including general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and oral surgeries.​
• Instrument Sterilization: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment areas in compliance with clinic protocols and health regulations.​
• Radiography: Capture and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed by the dentist.​
• Record Maintenance: Accurately document patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes.​
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor and maintain dental equipment, promptly reporting any issues or needs for repairs.​

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized Dental Assistant program is preferred.​
• Experience: Previous experience as a dental assistant, especially in a multi-specialty clinic, is advantageous.​
• Certifications: Valid DHA License
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with dental software systems and digital dentistry tools.​
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.​
• Professionalism: Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering high-quality care.​
