As a Data Architect, you will be the technical authority for the organizations data warehousing ecosystem. This role is responsible for designing the overall structure and strategy of the data platform, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business goals. It requires a blend of deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and strategic vision.
Design, build, and oversee the end-to-end architecture of the data warehouse.
Develop and implement scalable data models, including star schemas and dimensional modeling.
Establish and enforce standards for database design, governance, and master/slave configurations.
Architect secure and robust connectivity solutions with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and cloud-based integrations.
Lead the design of data ingestion, staging, and transformation pipelines.
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices to the data warehousing team.
Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure the architecture supports reporting and advanced analytics.
Educational Qualification
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field.
Significant experience as a Data Architect or in a senior data engineering role.
Strong BFSI domain expertise is mandatory, with preference for candidates from Exchanges, Brokerages, or Banks.
Expert-level knowledge of data warehousing principles, database design, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with DWH platforms (e.g., Vertica, Oracle) and ETL/ELT architecture.
Strong understanding of BI connectivity and integration (e.g., Power BI, cloud platforms).
Awareness of AI/ML integration potential within data architecture.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
