Deputy Manager Quality Assurance | Steel

JOB PURPOSE

Monitor, manage and control the following quality assurance activities at SKP Factory and Lahore office:

• To ensure quality of steel stocks at factory and to perform regular stock checks
• Dispatch of Quality product
• Customer complaint / Market visits with the Sales representative of North region and to evaluate complaints and perform necessary RCA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead daily QA inspections and oversee finished-goods handling and dispatch.
• Set and enforce quality standards; perform root-cause analysis on defects.
• Ensure proper storage, FIFO implementation, and prevention of product deterioration.
• Coordinate with FG Store, Sales, and cross-functional teams for material availability and customer requirements.
• Verify material weights/specifications and generate NCRs for non-conforming products.
• Support customer complaint resolution through market visits.
• Assist in QA polymer operations when required.
• Implement OHSE policies, controls, and compliance within the department.
• Report unsafe acts/conditions and ensure corrective/preventive actions.
• Conduct daily safety talks and attend monthly OHSE meetings.

QUALIFICATION

Engineering Graduate (BE/BS/BSc) in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

EXPERIENCE

3–4 years of relevant experience in QA, manufacturing, or related operations.
