Design Engineer

Job Summary :-

Attain departmental goals by active involvement in design activities of live projects and release production drawings. To capture every detail of project from sales team and site site visits. Study and use latest technologies, going through on-line technical literature and finding faster, smarter and cheaper solutions. Attaining excellence by Flawless output, OTIF and higher throughput.

1) Knowledge of Machine design, manufacturing process and Raw/finished materials, accessories availability in market, hands on knowledge of Inventor and Auto cad.

Job Description:-

Role & Responsibilities :-

1. Attend kick off meetings, get full kit information from sales team, DAP generation and

presentation. Prepare ADER chart for assigned project in consultation with Department

head and flawless implementation to achieve set departmental targets. Plan and test

accessories while maintaining excellent records of results and submitting those to

knowledge data base at PMO. Plan pneumatics, hydraulics, sensor brackets, side rails

and other accessories while coordinating with concerned departments.

2. Effective weekly planning, communication and execution to build flawless project

designs for achieving organizational goals.

3.Participate in team building activities, self management, inter departmental

coordination, site visits, customer interaction during DAP, FAT activities, co-ordination

with sales, application, automation team, machine/fabrication/assembly shop, supplier

and vendor for on time design release.

4. Carefully study RCA reports of field issues. Implement Kaizen, Poka Yoke, cost reduction

initiatives.

5. Thorough implementation of data storage, retrieval and security management

protocols.

Qualification :-

B.Tech, BE Mech

Candidate must have 3 - 6 years of experience.

Autodesk Inventor, Autocad, Catia, Creo, 3D Modelling, Drafting, Designing, SPM
